PRODUCT QUESTIONS

  • Using it is simple! Just add water to the powder, give it a shake in a bottle and use in any way imaginable!

    We recommend using room temperature water when reconstituting, in our experience hot water has lead to clumping … I mean hey if you want to give it hot water a go and find a different outcome we’ll only be keen to hear it!

  • It does! Making sure Bare*ly could give your coffee that much loved frothability was very important to us. So give that powder some steam and see how it fares 😃

  • Once you’ve mixed Bare*ly, you should store your mylk in an airtight bottle in the fridge. In the fridge, it should last a week.

  • You might notice Bare*ly will seperate slightly if you mix up a larger amount and store it in the fridge, but don’t worry! Simply give it a shake and your good to go

  • You can make as much or as little as you like and will use! We encourage you to test making & storing different amounts, to find your balance between keeping your mylk readily available and fresh, while avoiding any waste!

  • Anything and everything! Coffee, cereal, matcha, in the outdoors - anything your milk loving mind can imagine, we like to think Bare*ly’s got you sorted!

  • We would LOVE you to tell all your friends how much you love Barely. Jump to Insta, talk about it in the office, scream it from the rooftop … our Barely community is integral to us and we would take no greater pride than seeing you all use it in action.

  • Not yet but this is something we are certainly looking into. Given we are such early days, we haven’t quite come this far in our journey, but don’t worry a bottle is on our radars and something we certainly see for the future! In the meantime, we suggest you use any bottle you have → what a perfect opportunity to re-use!

  • After testing different recipes, we found oat was the best option for us. It’s super soluble, mixes well, and let’s face it … tastes great!

    Growing oats also has a lower environmental impact compared to other mylk options, which was also important!

  • We added pea protein to our recipe to give our mylk a nice little protein boost, and importantly, to help it to froth!

  • We believe mylk shouldn’t be complicated so we kept our recipe simple and all natural.

    We’ve added Calcium to help you achieve your daily intake and keep those bones nice and strong.

    Xanthum gum is a naturally derived thickener, giving our mylk the creaminess and texture that makes Bare*ly taste good and function well.

    Finally, natural salt is added to balance the flavour.

  • Xanthum gum is a corn-based, all natural fibre that adds a creamy texture to our mylk. Whilst the name sounds a bit daunting, it simply comes from the bacteria (Xanthomonas campestris) used to ferment corn. Research has found the gum can also have some positive health effects like helping stabilise blood sugar, encouraging healthy gut growth and acting as a prebiotic. We only use very small amounts, but we hope this eases any concerns!

  • We’re sorry our gluten intolerant friends but unfortunately due to our use of oats, we can’t guarantee Bare*ly is gluten free.

SUSTAINABILITY QUESTIONS

  • Liquid plant milks are made of over 90% water, and are sold in long-life cartons which don’t get recycled in Australia.

    By removing the water, we can offer you oat mylk in easily recyclable packaging that is far lighter and more efficient to transport.

COMPANY QUESTIONS

  • Bare*ly Mylk was founded with a goal to make plant milk more sustainable by rethinking the way we do it entirely.

    Powder not only removes the entire need for long-life cartons, allowing us to use a recyclable package, but it also meant we could use less packaging, reduce our transportation emissions, and provide a plant milk option that doesn’t need a fridge. We think we’re on to something ….

  • OUR FAVOURITE QUESTION! Bare*ly represents our quest to make plant mylk that is barely packaged. We think it shows our commitment to minimising our product’s impact on the environment, so we all can live a little lighter.

  • We do! At Bare*ly we are committed to encompassing all aspects of sustainability which is why we will be donating a percentage of our profits to causes important to us and the Bare*ly community. Stay tuned for more on this front!

  • We definitely see Bare*ly having a greater range of products than just our beloved oat milk powder. Given we are still in such early days, there’s no new products in the works at the moment, but certainly we look forward to bringing you more!
